Becky Sandy
Becky graduated from the University of Birmingham in 2005 with a First Class Honours degree in Drama and Theatre Arts and immediately got a job playing with lamps and climbing ladders backstage at Durham’s Gala Theatre. In her spare time, she enjoyed acting with her local amateur theatre group, The Royalty Theatre in Sunderland; her favourite roles have included Bridget in A Chorus of Disapproval, Gloria Mullins in Brassed Off (where she learnt how to mime the flugelhorn like a pro!) and the eponymous roles in Therese Raquin and Katherine Howard. When someone is kind enough to give her the chance, Becky also turns her hand to teaching and directing, and has spent many enjoyable hours tutoring at the wonderful Royalty Theatre Youth Academy Becky only recently moved to Derby and is thrilled to have joined FOURBLOKES for A Streetcar Named Desire; she would like to thank everyone for their very warm welcome and hopes she can help out without causing too much chaos backstage!
