Ross Lowe
Ross had a varied and somewhat fragrant career in local amateur dramatics before joining Fourblokes. He had appeared in a number of roles for Long Eaton Operatics since joining them in 1994 - "Prof. Harold Hill" in "The Music Man", "Fagin" in "Oliver!" and a gangster in "Kiss Me Kate" to name a few. Amongst other things, he was lucky enough to be part of the cast of Nottingham Festival Opera's "Pacific Overtures" which won the 2002 International Festival of Light Opera in Ireland. In 2005 however, Ross landed the part of "Ralph" in Fourblokes' award-winning debut production "Bouncers" and had what can only be described as "the time of his life", although it could also be described as "a delicious whirlwind of theatrical wonderment". Following this, Ross played the part of troubled "Polo" in "Welcome Home", an experience that can only be described as "frightening and sensual at the same time".
Ross now lives in London where he spends time standing behind cameras and shouting at people for television companies such as the BBC and TalkbackThames. He is to perform in a production of 'Godspell' in Clapham during April 2009, but he dearly hopes that he has at least one more Fourblokes show in him yet, otherwise what's the point in going on with life?
