Sandy Lane
Sandy originally trained in musical theatre at 'Arts Educational Schools' in London and then danced professionally for two years. After a complete break from theatre (twenty two years!) she joined Derby based amateaur group 'The Good Companions Stage Society'. Since joining the group she has played 'Maggie' in '42nd Street', 'Miss Flannery' in 'Thoroughly Modern Mille', 'Lottie' in 'Mack and Mable' and 'Mrs Mullin' in 'Carousel'.
Two years ago she was delighted to be offered the part of 'Audry' in the FOURBLOKES production of 'Blue Remembered Hills'. Sandy believes that the part of 'Blanche' in our forthcoming production of 'A Steetcar Named Desire' is the most challenging role to date but one she feels honoured to be playing.
